Chhagan Bhujbal Hospitalised Due to Sudden Decline in Health
Senior NCP leader and Maharashtra Minister, Chhagan Bhujbal, was hospitalized in Mumbai after experiencing a sudden decline in his health. The 76-year-old was transported from Pune to Mumbai via a special flight and admitted to Bombay Hospital, according to an official statement from his office.
Bhujbal, who manages the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection portfolio in the Maharashtra government under Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, had been in Pune for an event with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, the event was canceled due to heavy rainfall.
The statement from Bhujbal’s office indicated that he was admitted to the hospital with symptoms of fever and a throat infection, but his condition is reported to be stable.
